This rain sensor is a reliable and precise measuring instrument based on a two-stage tipping bucket principle. Compared to the single-stage method used by simple rain sensors, this one is more precise and reliable. This sensor has a 20 cm aperture so that the measurement remains accurate even in windy conditions.
